Elancourt, 08 October 2020: Airbus presented its Tactilon Agnet mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) solution at the IEEE 5G World Forum 2020 which took place in from the 10th September to the 2nd October.
Global experts from the fields of industry, academics, and research attended the presentation which highlighted the benefits brought by the use of hybrid mission-critical and secure communications over LTE and 5G broadband networks compared to systems operating over narrowband networks. Airbus’ all-in-one Tactilon Agnet mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) public safety solution was demonstrated to the attendees as an example of how hybrid technology can help end users embrace future technological evolutions in a smooth and cost-optimised way while maintaining the high level of security and reliability needed.
Airbus’ Tactilon Agnet MCPTT and its integration with an LTE or 5G network in 3GPP, offers smart device users a redefined secure group communication and cooperation. Equipped with advanced features, the collaboration platform ensures high-speed and real-time voice, data, video, and location services and private and group messaging. Public safety entities and organizations from various industry verticals such as oil and gas and transportation can fully use the solution and gain in emergency response time and have enhanced protection of critical assets.
