    Airbus consortium participates in European BroadWay project »

    Brussels, 09 October 2019 – An Airbus consortium has signed a pre-commercial procurement (PCP) agreement for the design phase of future pan-European mobile broadband solutions for public safety, called BroadWay. Earlier this year, the European Commission launched the Request for Tender (RFT) for the BroadWay project, in order to define next generation broadband communication systems for Public Safety and Disaster relief organisations (PPDRs) in Europe. The aim of the project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and development programme, is to enhance interoperability across borders.
