Job Description:

Secure Land Communications (SLC), an Airbus business unit, offers advanced communication and collaboration solutions to gather, process and deploy intelligence. Its portfolio is tailored to the needs of Public Safety, Defence and Transport, Utility and Industry (TUI). It includes infrastructures, devices, applications and services based on Tetra, Tetrapol and Broadband technologies (either single, hybrid or multi-technology solutions). As the European leader and a key international player, SLC has customers in more than 80 countries and employs around 1,150 people in 17 countries.

We are now looking for a Technical Solution Manager to join our System Design & Engineering team in Elancourt, Paris area. As a Technical Solution Manager you are responsible for the adequacy and compliance of the proposed Professional Mobile Radio solution with customer functional and operational requirements. You will provide technical solutions information in bids and in projects.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Definition of the solution architecture and the technical specifications of the solution, based on customer requirements
• Dimensioning of the network elements and definition of their configuration
• Management of technical reviews, technical changes and technical negotiation with the customer.
• Coordination of technical activities and coordination of technical teams and stakeholders
• Support to System Integration and Management of System Acceptance management
• Support to the customer for network operation planning

We are looking for a candidate with:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or similar

- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

- Fluent spoken and written English skills are required.

- To succeed in this kind of role you need to have collaborative and proactive way of working and customer service attitude.

- We expect you to have experience in radio systems (4G/5G), Security and IT/ICT knowledge.

- Transmission Network design knowledge is seen as an advantage.

- We hope you are good at understanding the big picture and enjoy developing your expertise continuously.

The role includes travelling.
